Is Paper Animators free?
Yes. The current tools are free, require no account and add no watermark to exported videos. Each export can be up to 60 seconds.
How do I make an animation?
Pick an effect, replace the sample words or add your media, adjust the available controls and preview the motion. Choose an output size, export, then download the finished video. See How It Works for the full workflow.
Which files can I use?
Image scenes accept formats such as PNG and JPG; video scenes accept formats such as MP4 and WebM when your browser can decode them. The file limit is 250 MB. Trim videos to 60 seconds or less before adding them. Some effects are text-only and do not use uploaded media.
Are my photos and videos uploaded?
The editor processes your selected media locally in your browser. Model downloads, fonts and website hosting still make network requests. If you email an attachment to support, that attachment is sent with your message. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use an export for client work or YouTube?
Yes, generated animations can be used in personal and commercial video edits. You must have permission for any media, music, logos or other third-party content you add. Replace sample claims and statistics before presenting a scene as factual. Read the Terms of Service and export guidance.
Why did I get WebM instead of MP4?
MP4 export needs H.264 encoding support in your browser. If it is unavailable, the editor can offer WebM. Try a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge if your editing workflow needs MP4.
Which sizes and aspect ratios are available?
Choose 720p or 1080p and a 16:9 landscape, 9:16 vertical or 1:1 square format in the output controls. Check the preview after changing format because text and image framing can change.
Why does an export fail or run slowly?
Rendering uses your device. Try a shorter clip or 720p output, close other demanding tabs and keep the editor open. An unsupported source codec can also prevent a file from loading. See Support for troubleshooting and what to include in a bug report.
Will my project be there when I return?
There is no cloud project storage. Saved favorites stay in the same browser, but refreshing or closing the editor can discard your current work. Download your finished video before leaving; a downloaded settings file is not a backup of your source media or a finished export.
Can I request another effect?
Yes. Email contact@paperanimators.com with the editing task you want to simplify, a public reference link if useful, and the controls you would need. We review requests but cannot promise a delivery date.
